Creamy homemade peanut butter

Just in case you needed a little something to put you in the mood, I thought I’d share this beyond darling e-recipe with you to wrap up the week. The truth is that one dollop will instantly boost your energy, plus contribute to brain health and blood flow. For the record natural peanut butter was developed in the early 90’s in America. Since then, it became our favorite spread and base ingredient used in varius recipes.

Back to our homemade spread…, there are 2 types of texture: smooth or chunky, which contains bits of peanut. As for the taste you can choose between salty or sweet flavor, though natural additives can be mixed later on. The base ingredients are…

You need:

  • 500g peanuts, unsalted
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt (optional)
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil

Place the peanuts and salt in a food processor.

Blend for a few minutes.

Scrap the sides of the bowl and continue blending, slowly dizzling in the vegetable oil.

Continue blending until the mixture reaches the desirable smoothness.

Transfer peanut butter in a jar and refrigerate for up to 2 months.

To protect against risk of getting the machine (food processor or blender, etc.) warm, stop processing to cool down and continue a few minutes later.
