Lemon crab sticks

Just 5 minutes from the word go and you could be serving this lemon flavored crab sticks (surimi). Combine lemon juice, dill and spring onion for a delicious seafood-inspired starter.

You need:

  • 8 crab sticks (surimi) lemon crab sticks surimi
  • 1 spring onion, white part, finely chopped
  • 1+½ tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 lemon, juiced
  • 2 sprigs dill, stems removed, finely chopped


Break up the crabs sticks using your hands (gently press).

Place all ingredients into a bowl and toss well to combine.

Garnish with fresh dill. Optionally season with freshly ground black pepper.

Refrigerate for at least 2 hours to enhance the flavor and serve chilled

Reserve some portion to use as filling in a sandwich or wrap.

Fresh dill is ideal for this recipe. One more option is to replace with finely chopped fresh parsley.
