We’re all leaving muffins as is, especially when we are in a hurry or getting bored, but decorating them is ALWAYS fun. That claims my friend Kively, whom had the courtesy to bake and decorate these pretty cupcakes marking the 1st anniversary of my wedding.

To tell you the truth she was looking for a chance to practise on her newly bought molds and mini icing plunger cutters!

These are her best DIY cupcake decorating ideas: vivid color buttercream, shaping our initials with fondant, painting the buttercream with metallic food color effect to give a bit of sparkle and placing some candied butterflies.

Thank you Jyothi! I am very lucky for having such good friends, whom by the way keep forgetting that I am on a strict diet and I cannot eat buttercream and sugar! Lol You see I didn’t reviel the whole story… But a tiny bite was enough to understand that they were delicious!
